The NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting Course is what you need.
Your class will be presented by Training Counselor, Donald Gregory.

NRA Rifle Orientation Course
  • Tuition: $125.00
  • This course is at least 8 hours long. 
  • Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting.
  • Students learn to shoot rifles through both classroom and range time.
  • Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.
Course contents:
  • NRA’s rules for safe gun handling,
  • Rifle parts and operation,
  • Ammunition,
  • Shooting fundamentals,
  • Range rules,
  • Shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions
  • Cleaning,
  • Continued opportunities for skill development.
PLEASE NOTE:  Certifications are issued by the NRA training department.  Therefore you will pay tuition to USA Training  Academy for the course and additional certification and processing fees payable to the NRA.
