Concealed Carry Only Class (in person)
  • Tuition is $49.00.
  • Required by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security for people seeking a
    Concealed Carry Only permit. This is not the Enhanced Carry class where you can carry in other states.
  • Class is approximately 90 minutes long. 
  • Students must be at least 21 years old.  
  • USA Training Academy will ensure that all training materials are provided.

You will receive:
  • At the end of the classroom session, you will be receive a written test.  
  • The state requires a score of 70% or better.
  • Proof of training from USA Training Academy will be provided to you.
Your next step to get the license:

1.   Gather your application and documents. 
  • After processing you gun permit obtain your Digital Finger Prints. There is no fee and the DMV will provide you with this information to complete this process.  
  • DD214 form if you have ever been in the military.
  • Court Clerk certified final disposition of any arrests.
  • Proof of Citizenship documents if you immigrated to the United States (such as a Green Card).
  • Your credit card or debit card.
2.   Complete the On-line gun permit application at this link.   https://dl.safety.tn.gov/_/#1
  • If you have trouble using the online system, or if you don't have a computer/internet, you are welcome to make an appointment with us after you have completed your training, and you have gathered all of the additional items.  Call us at (901) 826-4764 to schedule the appointment.  We will assist you with your online application and document uploading.
  • The fee for this personal assistance is $25.
